The Open Day, which took place this year on the 8th of June, was again a success. Among adults and children, Autoeuropa gathered about 20 thousand visitors in a friendly and family environment.

The plant tours allowed the visitors to know the functioning of the plant through demonstrations, films and exhibitions about the production process at Autoeuropa. The collaborators showed their families their workplace and had also the opportunity to visit exhibitions of cars from Volkswagen Group, old cars and test the models produced at the plant.

 For the children there was plenty of fun available with inflatable, mini Beetles, music with Tocá Rufar, t-shirt and facial painting, tricycles and street animators.

Scirocco was the star of the day raising the expectations about the future of our new model. It was also given the opportunity to take pictures with the new sports car from Volkswagen and the Mayor from Palmela, Dr. Ana Teresa Vicente and other important guest joined us and honoured us with their presence.

The team involved in the organization of this day is proud and satisfied with the fulfilment of another Open Day dedicated to everyone that wanted to visit us and meet Autoeuropa’s big family…A day which all of us will remember!
